The only constant in life change and nowhere is that more evident than in Canada's largest city, or more correctly, the contiguous communities surrounding Toronto. Vaughan, just north of Toronto, has seen the migration of hundreds of small businesses, fueling the need for targeted professional services. Recognizing that opportunity, an international accounting firm decided to set up an office geared specifically to small business clients in Vaughan, long before the trend became fashionable.

Becoming the signature tenant in the building, the firm wanted to demonstrate a knowledgeable, professional image while, at the same time, creating a philosophical bond with companies willing to take a chance on the future. As small businesses, the clientele here had a higher instance of coming to the facility, rather than meeting on-site, so the space was designed to be more streamlined and approachable than other facilities.

Furniture was visually light and meeting rooms cordial. Open planning supported collaboration and social space was soft and inviting. Occupancy occurred well before transit became available so special amenities were included to entice support staff to make the long trek from the City. The facility successfully attracted a full roster of talented people from other offices and a subway, delayed for years, is about to open its doors (or so we're told).
